Las Vegas Wedding Photographers are not all created equal! Unfortunately, here in Las Vegas there are quite a few people calling themselves “professional Las Vegas Wedding Photographers” and they really are not. They may be making a living as a photographer, but they may do no better than having your grandma or best friend take wedding photos for you.
When selecting a Las Vegas Wedding Photographer or a Las Vegas Wedding company, make sure you know whom the person is who will be taking the most important photographs of your whole life! Ask to see an extensive portfolio of photos taken by that individual. Anyone can get lucky with a couple of good photos, but you should see consistently good photos, not just a handful. Does their portfolio include photos of wedding couples with cut off the ankles, the knees, or the waist? Do you see photos with something growing out of their heads (the Eiffel Tower for example)? Are their subjects centered in every photo? Are the photos overexposed (too bright) or underexposed (too dark)? The answer to all of the above questions should be NO!
